THE HAIR & MAKEUP VAN
The Hair & Makeup Van has been designed in collaboration with the production industry to be the dream vehicle for location work around Scotland.
She has been fitted with a stylish but minimalist bespoke interior featuring heating, lighting, hot water, a spacious and luxurious toilet, 2 hair and makeup stations featuring 240v outlets (run from an external generator) an awning and even has a lift out clothes rail that fastens snugly in place for transit.
*Please note a generator is included with the hire of The Hair & Makeup Van. If you book The Wardrobe Van as well, our generator will power both vehicles.

Shoot Days
The Hair & Makeup Van is priced at £750.00 + VAT + fuel usage per day (based on a 10hr day*). The daily rate applies Monday to Friday, weekends are charged at time & a half.
*Time starts when the van leaves our base in Fife or the production base/hotel each morning of the shoot and ends when the van arrives back at the production base/our base at the end of each day of the shoot. The above includes the use of our onboard equipment. Overtime will be added @ £50 p/hr after the 10hrs.Travel Days
£375 + VAT + fuel usage. Monday to Friday standard rate applies. Weekends are charged at time & a half.Night Shoot / Rest Day

Generator
Our generator is a silent 3kw petrol generator. It will run 1 hair drier and a set of styling tongs simultaneously. If however you need more power in the van the hirer will need to provide a larger generator and whatever cable is required for the intended power. The Glam Van has a 32amp input socket. Any fuel used will be charged at cost and added to the invoice at the end of the shoot.
Fuel
We will ensure that the LPG used for heating, fuel for the van and generator are full at the start of each shoot and replenished when necessary for the duration of the shoot. There is no mileage charge, but all fuel used will be charged at cost and added to the invoice at the end of the shoot.
Additional Road & Parking Charges
It will be the hirers responsibility to ensure that all additional costs incurred during the shoot such as congestion charges, road tolls and parking charges are met. Any charges incurred that come to light after the shoot will be charged back to the hirer with an additional admin fee of £25.
Damages/Loss of Equipment
Any items provided by F&S Production Vehicles Ltd. that are lost or damaged on shoot will be charged to the hirer. Where possible, items will be repaired and charged to the hirer.
Damages to the Hair & Makeup Van and Equipment
Any damage to the vehicle or any of our equipment beyond reasonable wear and tear caused by the negligence of anyone other than the employees of F&S Production Vehicles Ltd will be charged back to the hirer.
Refuse
We do not have a licence to carry or dispose of rubbish. Please make your own arrangements regarding refuse collection.
Driver Rest
On multi day shoots the driver must be given a minimum of 10 hour sleep opportunity each night to ensure safe operation of the vehicle. If it is anticipated that sufficient rest time is not going to be possible, F&S Production Vehicles Ltd. reserves the right to send two drivers on shoot to alternate. The second driver will be charged at an additional £200 + VAT per day.VAT
